I can honestly say this is the best garden for its size that I have ever been to, and my friend and I will certainly be back next year.
We had our ‘Alice’ tea which was delicious, served by two of your male staff who know the true meaning of customer service. Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to all involved, we will both be singing your praises to our friends and wish you continued success in your venture.

We are all members of the National Trust and enjoy visiting interesting gardens. Gwen and I visited you on your open day last year we were made extremely welcome.

Hello Lady of the Manor, I must write to tell you how much we all enjoyed our visit to your absolutely awe inspiring gardens yesterday. We strolled around feeling privileged to be there enjoying the tranquillity and noting the attention to detail and marvelled at every view we saw. We enjoyed Alice’s Afternoon Tea, having seen others enjoying the delicious delights - we just couldn’t resist.

I just wanted to say thank you for hosting such a lovely event at your open gardens today. As someone who’s grown up admiring your house every time we drive down the lane it’s such a treat and privilege to open your gates and welcome people in. Your gardens are so beautiful, so much care, hard work and thought has clearly gone into the design and to be allowed to look around was a real treat! A lovely afternoon out, thank you so much! Our little boy, my husband and I all enjoyed it and it was so lovely to see so many generations enjoying your hard work and dedication. Once again, thank you for hosting such a splendid event! Best wishes Fran x

Had a fabulous Afternoon Tea at Mitton Manor today. I have been all over the world (The Ritz, Singapore, Bagkok, Bermuda - just to name a few) and have never had anything better than today. Thank you Elizabeth and the staff for a wonderful afternoon and for sharing your beautiful gardens.

You know a good garden when it still holds your attention despite being blown sideways! I think the lovely cake and champagne helped. Well done. Can’t wait to see it when the borders are in full bloom.

Beautiful gardens with lots of interesting features and planting. Stunning setting with far reaching views, ponds, lake and a swimming pool where food was served. We were entertained by a fabulous female singer, while waiting for our cream teas to arrive! Thank you for a truly memorable experience.

Visited recently with our garden club and received nothing but praise for organising the trip. As there were 50 ladies this was praise indeed. A must see for garden enthusiasts.

Wonderful garden, wonderful hospitality and superb lunch and cakes. My visit was prearranged with my local Gardening club and we all felt we were on holiday! So many different aspects to the garden with amazing views of local countryside. Will definitely return at a different time of the year.

I enjoyed a perfect afternoon on a group visit to these beautiful gardens. Set in lovely Staffordshire countryside the gardens have been lovingly laid out by the owner and reflect her artistic style.
After enjoying the gardens we sat at small tables in the stylish area around the swimming pool and were served tea and delicious cakes by the fabulous team.
I highly recommend a visit on one of the open days or booking a private group visit.

I have been to all of Mitton Manor's Open Garden Days and they are always amazing. Lovely gardens designed by the very friendly and approachable owner, Elizabeth Gooch MBE, gorgeous food, fantastic staff - can't rate it enough! Many of the events are now also dog-friendly and also child-friendly. Great value for money, too! Wonderful day out!
