We are thrilled to be hosting the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra at Mitton Manor Gardens on Saturday 29th June 2019.
One of the region’s best known and most admired non-professional orchestras, the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra was voted ‘best orchestra in the Midlands’ in the What’s On Readers’ Awards 2018. This spectacular classical concert promises to be a night to remember for the whole family.
Individual ticket holders should bring their own chairs. Tables and candelabra are welcome.
This is a picnic style concert. You may bring your own food and drink (including alcohol in glass bottles), however we will have a number of bars and street food stalls serving on the night.
Group/Corporate Tickets for parties of ten include; a private pagoda, a table and chairs dressed for the event, two bottles of champagne, six bottles of beer, a luxury picnic hamper, flags and programmes, as well as a butler service for the bars.
Gates will open at 6pm for a 7.30pm start.

Will tickets be available on the day?
Tickets are subject to availability; therefore it is advisable to book your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment.
Can I bring a chair and other furniture to the event?
The concert takes place on a grassed area so guests can bring rugs, chairs and tables. Please note the following items are not permitted: marquees, gazebos and/or tented structures (so as not to impair the view of those seated behind you), fires, barbecues, cookers, fireworks or lawn candles.
Will I need an umbrella?
Umbrellas and large parasols will not be permitted on site. However, blankets and disposable ponchos will be available to purchase.
Is there an ATM / cash machine at the event?
There are no onsite cash machines.
Can I take photographs?
You’re very welcome to bring your camera to capture the atmosphere, friends and family, however professional photography equipment is not permitted.
Where can I park?
Car parking is available onsite, free of charge. There is a large designated parking area immediately adjacent to Mitton Manor Gardens. Parking here is on a grassed area on slight gradient sloping upwards towards the entrance. Please follow the directional signage. Disabled parking is also available.
What other items should I bring?
Please keep in mind that Mitton Manor Gardens’ Last Night of the Proms is an outdoor evening concert. The concert area and car park is well lit, but it may be useful for guests to bring a torch to assist in packing up belongings and finding cars.
What disabled access will be available?
Please note that the concert takes place on a grassed lawn. Disabled parking facilities will be as close to the concert entrance as possible. Disabled toilet facilities will be available onsite.
Can I buy food and drink at the concert?
A variety of fully licensed bars and catering facilities will be available. We operate a Challenge 25 policy at the bars. No alcohol will be served to any persons under the age of 18. Proof of identification and age may be required in the form of a valid driving license or passport.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Mitton Manor Gardens’ Last Night of the Proms is a picnic style concert, you are permitted to bring your own food and drink into the concert.
