A beautiful setting
Mitton Manor is a 7-acre country garden surrounding a Victorian manor house in the heart of Staffordshire, with formal box and topiary, garden rooms in different styles and a natural woodland bordered by a stream. Stunning water features and sculptures just add to the magic.
Mitton Manor Gardens were started in 2001 and were developed from an overgrown wilderness into an area of natural tranquillity by owner Elizabeth Gooch.
The formal gardens have been designed, planted and maintained to the very highest standard, with different themes working together harmoniously to tell individual stories – from cosmic shifts to Egyptian mythology.
Mitton Manor Gardens is part of the NGS (National Gardens Scheme) and opens to the public on various dates during the year to raise money for charity.
